Quake Champions is Going Free-to-Play Permanently

Quake Champions is going free-to-play permanently. At today's QuakeCon, id Software announced that following the reception to the Quake Champions Early Access beta, Quake Champions is going free-to-play for good.

If you log into Steam right now you can download Quake Champions for free. Also, as part of the QuakeCon sale on Steam you can get the Quake Champions Pack Upgrade for $19.79 which includes access to all champion characters and additional bonuses.

Quake Champions is a competitive first-person arena shooter as part of the Quake series, though in recent years guest characters like the Doom Slayer and B.J. Blazkowicz have been added to the roster.

You can check out our guide on Quake Champions' open beta, though it'll need to be slightly updated after the news that it's going free-to-play.
