Rage 2 Gameplay Video Coming May 15, Says Official Reveal Trailer

Rage 2 is real and gameplay is coming very soon.

Update: The official reveal trailer for Rage 2 has been released by Bethesda, but the big news is that a gameplay reveal video for the game is coming tomorrow, May 15. We had thought that we'd have to wait until E3 next month to see the game in action, but check back tomorrow for the first in-game footage.

Original Story

Not for the first time, Rage 2 has suffered from a leak, with a short teaser trailer for the game being revealed on YouTube, before being taken down with a copyright claim from Bethesda.

The full teaser trailer for the game might now be gone from YouTube, but you can still see a snippet of the short live action trailer in the tweet just below. It's definitely an edgy, Mad Max-inspired take on the apocalypse.

Earlier last week, Rage 2 was outed thanks to a listing over on Walmart Canada. The official Rage Twitter account used the opportunity to poke fun at Walmart for the leak, but it was never actually denied from Bethesda's point of view. Elsewhere in the leak from Walmart Canada was Gears of War 5 and a new Splinter Cell game.

At the time of writing there's been no official reveal of Rage 2 from Bethesda, but we can expect the full teaser trailer for the upcoming game to launch at some point today, May 14, if the not-so-cryptic hint from the Rage Twitter account just below is anything to go by.

Bethesda are due to hold an E3 2018 presentation on June 11, in LA, and for all the speculation you need as to what the publisher could be demoing and announcing during the show, head over to our Bethesda E3 guide.

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
