Rainbow Six Siege's Limited "Outbreak" Biohazard Event Detailed

Read: Zombies.

Details for Ubisoft's first co-op event have been revealed. Rainbow Six Siege is kicking off its Year Three of content with two new operators and a limited zombie event.

Officially, Ubisoft is calling the whole thing a biohazard situation, but Outbreaks associated with biohazards typically only mean one thing in video games. Team Rainbow is trapped in the New Mexico city of Truth of Consequence and have to call in a French and Russian Operator who specialize in biological warfare.

A team of three will enter the town and secure its safety by taking down threats, which include exploding monsters and tank-like hulks. Presumably, there are even more, unrevealed monsters waiting to take you out in this event.

"Operation Chimera" will be available on February 19 for the TTS and then all platforms on March 6, while the "Outbreak" event will be playable on February 20 in the TTS and goes live on all platforms from March 6 to April 3.
