Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Content Announced, Teases Co-Operative Zombies Mode

Ubisoft has just announced a third year of content for Rainbow Six Siege, including what looks like a co-op zombies mode.

A third year of content for Rainbow Six Siege has been announced by Ubisoft, set to kick off in January 2018, and arriving in four installments over the course of the year.

As usual, two new Operatives and two new maps will be added to Rainbow Six Siege at some point in 2018, but there'll also be a new mode called Outbreak. In this new mode, which Ubisoft gave some brief details of in the panel just below, you'll be fighting against something you "might not totally expect" in the new co-op mode.

However, the new Outbreak mode will only be available for Season 1 of 2018, which runs for right around four weeks. After that, it'll disappear, and we don't yet know if the mode will be returning in the three other seasons for Rainbow Six Siege spread across 2018.

What we do know about the three other seasons of Rainbow Six Siege in 2018 is somewhat limited. Season 2 will be taking us to the brand new location of Italy, along with two new Italian GIS Operators, while Season 3 will contain a complete rework of an existing (yet unknown) map, New Operators from Scotland Yard in the UK and Delta Force from the US.

Finally, Season 4 will be feature the new location of Morocco, and is set to include two new Moroccan GIGR Operators.

These are all the details we have right now on the forthcoming Outbreak mode, as well as the four Seasons coming to Rainbow Six Siege in 2018, although we'll keep an ear out for any additional information released from Ubisoft.
