Red Dead Online Servers Down

Given that it is still early days for Red Dead Online, there are bound to be some teething problems in the coming weeks. There will be server drops, as we’ve seen already, though things seem to be a lot more stable than the launch of GTA Online at least. We’ll be taking a look at any issues that have cropped up so far below:

Red Dead Online Error 0x20010006 Fix

Some players have been experiencing an error message after being kicked from a server in Red Dead Online. The error is called Error 0x20010006, but what exactly is it, and is there a fix? Well, this particular error indicates a problem with Rockstar servers and is very much a Rockstar problem, not a user issue. As such, the only fix available is reloading the server. This issue will likely become less prevelant as servers adjust to the player load experienced at launch.

Red Dead Online Xbox One Not Loading

Since Red Dead Online launched, some Xbox One users have been reporting that they are unable to access Red Dead Online. Given Red Dead Online has an unusual launch schedule for it’s beta, it’s worth checking first that you are eligible to jump in. You’ll need the Ultimate Edition to play on day one, have played RDR2 on launch day to get in on Day 2, played within the first three days of launch to get in on Day 3, then it’s Friday for everyone else. Regardless, the Xbox One version does seem to be having some issues with server stability, as acknowledged by the Rockstar Support Twitter.
