Red Dead Redemption now Xbox One X Enhanced Along With Five Other Xbox 360 Titles

Red Dead Redemption, Portal 2, Gears of War 2, oh my! Xbox One X owners should be happy.

Today during the Inside Xbox show, a handful of new Xbox 360 games that will be getting the Xbox One X enhancement treatment were announced. The games being enhanced for Xbox One X, therefore running in 4K and with graphical improvements, include Red Dead Redemption. The enhanced titles are available today.

Xbox announced its slate of Xbox 360 games that will receive graphical enhancements and performance boosts when played on the Xbox One X. This includes Darksiders, Gears of War 2, Portal 2, Red Dead Redemption, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and available for the first time on Xbox One, Sonic Generations.

Red Dead Redemption aside this is a strong lineup of games now available on Xbox One and Xbox One X. Portal 2 is widely considered one of Valve's best games while Gears of War 2 is an Xbox classic. Heck, even Sonic Generations is one of the better modern Sonic games in recent memory.

The news should satiate players eagerly anticipating Red Dead Redemption 2 which was delayed to October 26, 2018. Or, if you're just a Valve fan ready to see what new games Valve is reportedly working on you're covered too. In fact, I feel like a lot of different gamers will be pleased by today's announcement as Xbox One X is offering a little something for (mostly) everyone.

The Xbox One X Enhancements have proven to be a real selling point for Microsoft's most powerful console. We have a list of Xbox One X games that really show off the power of the One X, but it seems that the extra graphical power has given the console a boost in its visibility (pun intended).

Xbox also announced a slate of original Xbox games coming to the Xbox One. These include titles like The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind and the original Star Wars: Battlefront 2. You can see the full list of games here.
