Remnant From The Ashes Forged Iron Locations

You’ll need Forged Iron to upgrade your weapons and armor in Remnant From The Ashes. Here’s where to find it.

In Remnant From The Ashes, you’ll need to be constantly upgrading your weapons and armor to stay ahead of the game. Scrap and Iron will get you by for the first few hours of the game, but once you hit level 5 for a piece of armor or a weapon, you’ll need Forged Iron for a new upgrade. Forged Iron can be tricky to find, but with this Remnant From The Ashes Forged Iron Guide we’ll show you the best ways to get it.

Where to Find Forged Iron in Remnant From The Ashes

Forged Iron is needed to upgrade your weapons and armor beyond level 5 in Remnant From The Ashes. It’s a fairly rare resource, though you’ll only need to reach the Labyrinth in order to get a bunch. The Labyrinth can be found by following the main objective on Earth. Once you get there, you’ll head through a portal to a place named Rhom. Forged Iron is a more common drop on Rhom, so just play through this area and make sure you seek out any chests that are around. Once you've upgraded your weapons further, you'll be able to buy Forged Iron from Ace as well.

How to Upgrade Your Weapons and Armor Using Forged Iron

Once you have enough Forged Iron, head back to Ward 13. Now, talk to Rigs, who will use Forged Iron in the same way as other upgrades. You’ll need four Forged Iron for each gear piece to reach level 6.

Once You Hit Level 5, Forged Iron Can Drop Anywhere

It’s worth pointing out that once you’ve upgraded weapons and armor to level 5, Forged Iron will start to drop everywhere. In our experience, it drops a lot more regularly on Rhom, so that’s where we’d recommend heading if you’re looking to do some Forged Iron farming.
