Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is out today and with it comes a slew of new additions to Alola. But if you're a Pokémon Master already itching to kickstart your new game, you'll be happy to learn that the Pokémon Bank will be coming to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon sometime in "late November."
Serebii Update: Pokémon Bank will update with compatibility for Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon in "Late November" https://t.co/gDbXkHSvkT— Serebii.net (@SerebiiNet) November 17, 2017
The news comes from Serebii.net, a trusted resource for all things Pokémon. The Pokémon Bank is a paid service from the Pokémon Company that lets you bring Pokémon from older games to newer titles like Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
For $4.99 annually, players can have access to the Pokémon Bank and transfer Pokémon from previous games on the 3DS or Virtual Console to the Pokémon Bank. From the Bank, players can then download those same deposited Pokémon into their new game, basically giving Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon access to even more Pokémon.
So far, Pokémon Bank supports Pokémon from Pokémon Sun, Moon, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, Y, Black Version, White Version, Black Version 2, White Version 2, Red (Virtual Console), Blue (Virtual Console), and Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (Virtual Console).
Pokémon Silver and Gold are slated to become compatible sometime in Winter 2017.
