Capcom today announced that the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake will be collaborating with Capcom Cafe for a crossover event. The event will take place in Ikebukuro later this month.
You can see a preview snippet for the upcoming event in the Resident Evil subreddit post below. As the post states, the Capcom Cafe will be home to a Resident Evil 3 remake collaboration event starting March 26, and will run on until April 29. If you happen to be a Japanese reader, you can head over to the Capcom website for more details of the event.
Events at the Capcom Cafe in Japan normally center around one game, and provide a menu themed around said game. There should be a variety of Resident Evil 3-themed drinks and snacks on offer for the month, as well as special merchandise that you can usually only buy at the cafe while the event is on. Can someone pick me up a Nemesis plush, please?
For an example of one of the previous Capcom Cafe collaboration events, look no further than the Street Fighter event in February 2020. There was a Guile-themed burger, a Blanka-themed Omurice, and many other dishes centered around classic Capcom characters from the Street Fighter series.
There's not long now to wait until the Resident Evil 3 remake releases on April 3, 2020. It'll be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and there should be a demo for the remake releasing very shortly.
