Resident Evil 3 Remake Will Change Brad Vickers' Role
The remake is "90% ready" to go.
A full remake of Resident Evil 3 was finally revealed earlier this month after numerous leaks. Similar to the Resident Evil 2 remake earlier this year, Jill Valentine and co. are getting a fancy HD makeover for when Nemesis chases them down in Raccoon City.
The latest issue of Famitsu features an interview with Resident Evil 3 remake producers Peter Fabiano and Masachika Kawata. As translated through a Twitter user, Kawata states that similarly to the Resident Evil 2 remake, there will be alterations made and things rearranged so that those familiar with the original game have something new to enjoy.

I've picked up the most recent issue of Famitsu Weekly (issue #1620) that has an exclusive interview with producers Peter Fabiano and Masachika Kawata.
One of the biggest changes might be coming to doomed STARS member Brad Vickers. Kawata says that Vickers' role has changed in the remake, far more so than Carlos Oliviera's, the latter of which has a fantastic new hairdo. Vickers famously suffers a gruesome death at the hands of Nemesis in the original Resident Evil 3, and we'll have to wait and see whether he'll be going through something similar in the remake.
Kawata and Fabiano also revealed that the remake is "90% ready," and that there will be no delays. Kawata says that the master copy of the Resident Evil 3 remake is fairly ready, so things in the dev team must be proceeding smoothly if the master copy is nearly ready over three months away from release in April 2020.
The fancy Resident Evil 3 remake trailer featured Jill Valentine fleeing from Nemesis through an apartment block, shown in a first person perspective. Fabiano and Kawata clarified that this was a stylistic choice, and although the apartment section will be playable, it'll be presented in third person like the rest of the game.
Resident Evil 3 remake hits PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 3, 2020. With the Final Fantasy 7 remake and Cyberpunk 2077 releasing either side of Capcom's horror remake, it's up against some stiff competition.
