Respawn Could Release Another Game Alongside Star Wars by Holiday 2019

Could we see Titanfall 3?

EA's Respawn Entertainment is working on a Star Wars game, this we know. But according to EA's latest financial report Respawn has multiple games slated for release by next holiday season.

In prepared remarks during a call with investors Wilson said: "Across multiple studios, we have new projects underway, including games from Respawn that are slated to launch by next holiday season. EA COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed the pluralization was intentional during a Q&A with investors. "You heard Andrew say, 'games' plural in regards to Respawn," Jorgensen said. "Consider that a little Easter egg left in the conference call."

Respawn is currently working on a new Star Wars game called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which was announced at E3 earlier this year. Having shipped Titanfall 2 in the winter of 2016 to critical acclaim. Respawn is currently staffing positions for Star Wars, Titanfall, and an unannounced VR game. Any which (or all three) could be slated for next holiday.

EA's revenue rose to $1.29 billion last quarter ending on September 30 thanks to good showings by EA Sports titles including FIFA, Madden, and NHL. EA is readying for the release of Battlefield 5 in November and Anthem in February 2019 which CEO Andrew Wilson believes will perform better than expected.

EA also discussed its Project Atlas cloud-gaming initiative that EA discussed in a blog post last night. Project Atlas is expected to create complex and sophisticated game worlds and shows how dedicated EA is to live-service and streaming.
