Rocket League Xbox One X Enhanced Features Coming in December

4K and 60fps, plus HDR support for 4K TVs.

Rocket League is getting its long-awaited Xbox One X Enhanced features on December 3 so get ready to rev up those engines in 4K.

Rocket League developers Psyonix originally announced the Xbox One X enhancements way back in 2017 but delays ended up pushing the upgrades into 2018. Luckily it won't be much longer until players with Xbox One X systems can play Rocket league in 4K at 60fps. HDR support is also coming to 4K TVs.

Other features coming alongside the Xbox One X enhancements to all other versions of Rocket League include leaderboards for Ranked Extra Modes, tuning of the XP and Progression System, community flags, and some new music.

Rocket League is also getting the Rocket Pass 2 and Christmas event, Frosty Fest 2018, before the end of the year though not necessarily at the same time as the December Update. Likewise, cross-platform party won't be available until 2019.
