Rocksteady Addresses Notable Absence From E3 2018 as Its Next Game Remains a Mystery

It's not a bird or a plane, it's a statement from the famed Batman Arkham studio about why it wasn't at E3.

Rocksteady, acclaimed developer of the Batman Arkham series, was nowhere to be seen at this year's E3. Fans are disappointed with the no show, and Rocksteady knows that.

Taking to Twitter yesterday on June 13, Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill issued the statement just below, reassuring fans that the studio was hard at work on their next big game.

Rocksteady never commented on whether it would be attending E3 2018 prior to the show taking place over the last week in LA. It was purely speculation that the studio would be showing anything at the trade show, and as of right now we're not even sure what Rocksteady are busy working on.

There have previously been rumors of Rocksteady working on just about everything to do with other DC franchises outside of Batman, including Superman, Justice League, and Suicide Squad. As we mentioned, at this point in time the studio's mysterious project is well under wraps.

But if you want a full recap of the most exciting announcements, trailers, and gameplay for titles that were at this year's E3, make sure to head over to our E3 2018 recap hub.
