Next week DICE is going to host a second closed alpha for Battlefield 5. The second alpha will be held on August 14 and the focus will be on player progression speed.
EA says that the second Closed Alpha is built directly from the first Closed Alpha and will require as many invited players as possible. The changes in the second Closed Alpha have to do with how quickly players progresses through the ranks during the first Closed Alpha.
EA also improved matchmaking and fixed issues that may have come up while joining squads. Things like maps, weapons, and vehicles are still being balanced, and server stability, backend connectivity, and mathmaking are all still being worked on.
EA says that the second Closed Alpha will be short and will only be available to players invited to participate. Another round of invitations will be sent out, but in the meantime you can check out our Battlefield 5 guide for any new updates and news
