See How Different Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate is From Monster Hunter: World When the Demo Comes to Switch Tomorrow

Try a bit of handheld hunting before you buy.

Monster Hunter hype is hot hot hot again, like the weather. Monster Hunter: World recently arrived on PC, and earlier today we learned a demo for Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon.

Capcom announced the arrival of the demo tomorrow (August 16) on its official Monster Hunter Twitter account. The demo is free and will let you get a sip of "all 6 Hunting Styles and all new Prowler abilities."

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an HD upgrade of 2015's Monster Hunter Generations for the Nintendo 3DS. It initially came to the Switch as Monster Hunter XX in Japan last year. The localized version was announced in May, and you can look forward to the final product on August 28. We're even getting tie-in costumes with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Please don't make your Palico dress up like a Korok, though. Remember: A Palico's dignity is sacred.

If you've recently taken up the Monster Hunter blade with the Monster Hunter: World PC release, welcome! We have all kinds of Monster Hunter: World guides, tips, and tricks to help you hunt everything from the lowliest Jagrath to the mightiest Deviljho.
