See How Much the MediEvil PS4 Remake Has Changed in the New Trailer

Back from the dead.

Sir Dan lives again in the first trailer for the MediEvil remake on PlayStation 4.

You can see how far the remake goes in the new MediEvil trailer as it includes back-to-back comparison shots of the original PlayStation version of MediEvil with the new PlayStation 4 version. Sony boss Shawn Layden made sure to emphasize that this was a remake and not a remaster.

Like the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot remakes, the new MediEvil features modern graphics, 4K, and some additional cinematics. You can see the gameplay footage captured entirely from the PS4 Pro in the trailer.

MediEvil for PS4 was first announced at last year's PlayStation Experience. While there's no PSX this year, we've gotten both the first MediEvil trailer and a beta for PSN username changes.

MediEvil is slated for a 2019 release.
