Slaughter Rabbids in For Honor's Real April Fool's Day Event

On this day of pranks, Ubisoft has actually implemented a special event in which you can fight its lovable creatures.

April Fool's Day is a time for big brands to get their fans unfairly excited over things that will never exist, children to pretend they've broken a limb at the bottom of a staircase, and people to get angry. Ubisoft has gone one better, implementing a brilliant April Fool's Day event into For Honor. You can currently take on an army of Rabbids.

Starting March 31 at 9PM PDT, and ending April 1 at 9PM PDT, players who jump into the game and take part in the special event will be given a melee pack as a reward. The Rabbids will be filling in for minions (not those minions) during this special event.

Rabbids really are in For Honor at the moment | Ubisoft.

We were pretty convinced that the Rabbids event was nothing more than a joke, with Ubisoft putting together some fake screens to make the news seem more believable. Having jumped into a number of For Honor live streams on Twitch this morning, though, the event is very much a real thing and live in the game right now.

The For Honor Rabbid event is part of For Honor's Year 3 content, Year of the Harbinger. Players recently got The Black Prior as part of this season of content, with more set to arrive over the course of 2019.
