Forget the Super Nintendo Classic Edition. Forget the Nintendo Switch's Classic Game Collection. Forget the Virtual Console. In the year 2017, the true path to Super Nintendo greatness is buying a brand-new game. And you can!
Today marks the official release of Unholy Night, a new fighting game developed for Super Nintendo and Super Famicom. The title was developed by Foxbat, a team of developers that formerly worked on Kizuna Encounter, Art of Fighting, King of Fighters 98, King of Fighters 2001, and King of Fighters 2002.
Unholy Night is a 32 Megabit cartridge instead of older Super Nintendo games, which would tend to max out at 16. According to the retail listing, Unholy Night has four game modes: Story, Versus, Survival, and Practice. Basically, if you still have a working Super Nintendo, there's a Darkstalkers-esque fighter just waiting for you.
You can buy Unholy Night on Amazon right now for a cool $49.99.
