Sony's already revealed some of what you can expect to see at its E3 2018 showcase, including more babies lodged in Norman Reedus' throat.

E3 2018 is a month away, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Just lean back, relax, and accept it. Begin your journey down the path of Zen with this E3 tidbit: Sony's E3 2018 showcase goes live on June 11 at 6 p.m. PDT.

"Join us on Monday, June 11 starting at 6:00pm Pacific Time as we share a preview of what's next for PlayStation," states a blog post by SIE Worldwide Studios Shawn Layden that went up earlier today. "We'll broadcast the show live from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, California via, Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook."

Layden then reveals the names of four major titles we'll see at the show, which is a break from E3's tradition of waiting until showtime to say "Surprise, Surprise!". Look forward to learning more about The Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and Death Stranding.

Oh good, this year's "Make A Meme Out of Death Stranding" contest is about to start.

Warning: E3 is engineered to make sure you understand more about the games slated for a future release, but we can't offer any guarantees you'll come away from Sony's show with any understanding of what Death Stranding is about.

Are you excited about E3? Nervous? Resentful? Inexplicably aroused? However you feel about the event, our Guide to E3 2018 contains everything you need to know about what you can expect to see, and when you can expect to see it.

Not getting my hopes up, but it would be nice to see more new Sony games at E3 this year that don't fit into the boring bland realism mold like every other AAA shooty-stabby thing. Or at the very least, share more footage of the Spyro Trilogy and any footage at all of the MediEvil remaster. Maybe announce some of the "fun" villains like Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus as existing in the new Spider-Man game.

I want to believe this time, Kojima will actually show some gameplay of Death Stranding. Or at the very least explain what Death Stranding is actually about.

Then again, I have been wrong before.
