SoulCalibur 6 Network Test Begins This Weekend for PS4 and Xbox One

SoulCalibur 6 Network Test Begins This Weekend for PS4 and Xbox One

Souls will burn this Friday.

If you want to play SoulCalibur 6 early, you'll have an opportunity to do so this weekend when Bandai Namco kicks off a network test for the upcoming fighting game.

SoulCalibur 6 will get a free network test on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The network test will include an online versus mode, but there's no mention of which characters and stages will be available to players.

The network tests begin Friday, September 28 at 8am PT/11am ET and ends on Monday, October 1 at 8pm PT/11pm ET. You can see the announcement tweet below.

SoulCalibur 6 is the long-awaited sequel to Bandai Namco's weapons fighting game. Billed as a retelling of sorts to the first SoulCalibur, SoulCalibur 6 includes a lot of past-favorite characters with new designs including Nightmare, Ivy, Sophitia, and more. Geralt from The Witcher series will be the guest character for this entry into the franchise.

For more check out our SoulCalibur 6 guide for the full roster of characters and the latest trailers. SoulCalibur 6 is coming out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 19.
