Spider-Man PS4 Teases Something Fantastic Four Related Coming Soon

In honor of Fantastic Four Week, Spider-Man will get... something.

This week, Marvel Games is celebrating Fantastic Four Week, honoring Marvel's First Family. Now that Disney the film rights to Fantastic Four back, it's time to give those characters a bit more shine.

In a livestream event, Marvel Games revealed that the Fantastic Four is coming to every mobile game: Marvel Future Fight, Marvel Contest of Champions, and Marvel Strike Force. But the end of the stream teased that something "fantastic" would be coming to Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4.

It's probably not any story content or new characters. Instead, good money is on one or more Fantastic Four related costumes for Spidey. Either the Bombastic Bag-Man or Spider-Man's Future Foundation outfit are solid contenders. There's also the very short-lived Fantastic Spider-Man costume from the Future Foundation run of the Spider-Man series.

Will the addition be just one of the costumes, like the recent Raimi film suit, or will players be getting all three costumes? We'll see when Marvel Games, Sony, or Insomniac Games provides us with some more details.

M.H. Williams is new to the journalism game, but he's been a gamer since the NES first graced American shores. Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
