Spider-Man PS4 Update 1.07 and 1.08 Adds New Game Plus Mode and Two New Trophies
Try for the ultimate difficulty.
The newest update for Marvel's Spider-Man from Insomniac Games adds the long-awaited New Game+ Mode along with two new trophies.
Patch notes for updates 1.07 and 1.08 breaks down the newest additions to Spider-Man PS4 in the most recent update. New Game+, which was teased to release earlier but is now available, as well as the Ultimate Difficulty are both on the notes.
New Game+ functions similarly to other New Game modes in video games with players now able to start the game with all the suits and unlocks from their previous playthrough. Meanwhile Ultimate Difficulty ramps up the difficulty and challenge to yet another level. There are also two new Trophies available, one for beating the game in New Game+ and the other for beating the game on Ultimate Difficulty.
The update also preps the game for the release of the first Spider-Man DLC next week "The Heist" which comes with three new outfits and begins a new story arc in Spider-Man. Photo Mode has also been finetuned with new frames and stickers as well as a shortcut option, so you don't have to keep finding the mode via the start menu.
There's also some quality-of-life improvements including some fine-tuning, bug-fixes, and more. Check out the full patch notes here.
