Spider Man PS4 Venom

There are a lot of iconic Spidey villains in Spider Man PS4. From Electro to Vulture, all of the Sinister Six are included, alongside Shocker, Taskmaster, Tombstone, and even Screwball shows up at one point. Let’s take a look at whether Venom is in Spider Man PS4 as well.

Is Venom in Spider Man PS4?

Venom doesn’t appear in Spider Man PS4 outright. Instead Venom is referenced a few times, through Easter Eggs and asides. First off, Eddie Brock is in the game, and can be found by checking out Peter’s Daily Bugle leaving card, collected in one of the backpack collectibles. Eddie Brock is often the host for Venom in the comics, so his presence does open up the possibility of Spider Man PS4 going down the Brock Venom route.

Another Venom reference can be found by peering into the windows of certain New York City apartments. One eagle-eyed Reddit user spotted a black suit venom Spider Man figurine on a shelf in one of the apartments in the game.

Spider Man PS4 Harry Osborn Venom Post Credits Scene

Okay now we’re into some serious spoiler territory. At the end of Spider Man PS4, a post-credits scene is shown in which Norman Osborn heads into a secret room in his apartment, where he is keeping Harry. Harry is shown in some sort of chamber, surrounded by Black webbing. It seems that Norman is reverse engineering super spiders to try to save his son, and in the process possibly creating the symbiote. Norman presses his hand against the glass, and a black web-like substance moves to meet him. It’s likely that this is setting up Venom for the next game, though we will have to wait and see to know for sure.
