Insomniac's Spider-Man Will Have Alternate Spidersuits, Don't Worry

Insomniac confirms with a simple tweet.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the Spider-Man in Insomniac's adaptation is wearing a mighty different sort of spidey suit: one with a distracting white emblem emblazoned on it.

Spider-Man's been known to have a black emblem usually, making the white stand-out. According to reports from Polygon, there's a story reason as to why this is, one that will be revealed as players play the game. This led to a fan asking Insomniac point blank on Twitter: new outfits be on the way for the spider-empowered superhero?

Yes. So fresh, so clean. Alternate costumes are nothing new to the Spider-Man franchise. They were present in both The Amazing Spider-Man games. For the upcoming game, Insomniac hasn't said anything beyond that simple "yes" as to what types of costumes will be on the way. But given Miles Morales' tease at the end of the trailer, and this year's release of the second reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming might lend their specific spidey outfits.

Spider-Man will be out in 2018 for PlayStation 4 exclusively.
