Developer Toys for Bob has announced that the upcoming Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been delayed. Originally set to launch next month in September, the trilogy pack will now launch in November.
In a blog post over on the official Activision website (who is publishing the remastered trilogy), Toys for Bob announced the delay. "We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018," the post reads.
"I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait," the post from Toys for Bob concludes.
Earlier this month, USgamer reported that the physical edition of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy would in fact only contain the first game on the disc. Although the two sequel games are included in the package, they must be downloaded in order to be played.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be releasing for PS4 and Xbox One on the new date of November 13, 2018. For everything else you need to know about the upcoming remastered trilogy, head over to out Spyro Reignited Trilogy guide.
