Star Wars Battlefront 2's Single Player Campaign Will Clock in Around 5 to 7 Hours
According to the developers at Motive Studios.
Earlier this week USGamer got a chance to check out a couple chapters in the upcoming single-player story mode for Star Wars Battlefront 2. With the multiplayer experience mired by loot box controversies, the single-player is shaping up to be a potential saving grace for the game. But how long will the single-player campaign last you? According to Motive, the story mode could be a pretty standard five to seven hours.
In an interview with Australia's Press-Start, Motive's studio producer David Robillard said that the story campaign could last "around 5-7, maybe 8 hours," saying that around that length "is probably a good amount of time."

Robillard added that the studio, "wanted to stay very driven towards the Star Wars fantasy that the players are going to experience and not have it be drawn out."
When we previewed the the single-player campaign for Star Wars Battlefront 2, we were impressed by the way the game re-contextualized the original Star Wars trilogy. Using the perspective of an Imperial soldier, Star Wars Battlefront 2 teased an interesting and cinematic new story in the Star Wars universe. With the preview jumping from the destruction of the Death Star to the Battle of Endor, at around seven hours long who knows where else the Battlefront 2 story will go?
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For more information, check out our complete guides.
