At today's Triple Force Friday event, wherein Disney and Lucasfilm celebrated some upcoming Star Wars merchandise, the companies took a little time to talk about Respawn's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Despite a somewhat quiet marketing strategy from the game's reveal at E3 2019 to today, EA and Microsoft are teaming up for an Xbox One bundle.
The bundle comes in both Xbox One X and Xbox One S variations. Each will come with a code for Jedi Fallen Order, a month of Xbox Live, and a month of EA Access. The Xbox One X bundle will retail for $500 USD, while the Xbox One S bundle for the budget-minded Star Wars fan will retail for only $300.
In addition to the game and the subscription services, the bundles will also come with a special edition Star Wars controller made for Jedi: Fallen Order. It is functionally the same as your run-of-the-mill Xbox One controller, but emblazoned with the Imperial logo on the right side and graffiti-style red, black, and white along the entirety of the controller to look similar to the game's Purge Trooper enemies. It is not clear if the controller will be sold separately.
USgamer got to go hands-on with Fallen Order back at E3 2019, where it was clear this wasn't another Force Unleashed. This new Jedi adventure looks to focus on traversal and tough, Souls-like combat, with deadly lightsaber duels playing a big part in making you feel like a true Padawan-in-training.
Pre-orders for the Jedi: Fallen Order bundles will begin on October 4, but Jedi: Fallen Order itself releases on November 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
