Stardew Valley's Multiplayer Update Goes Live Today on PC, Allowing Player Marriages and More
Four Players, One Cow.
Farming is a job for more than one set of hands. No doubt Stardew Valley players will be happy to know the game's much-awaited multiplayer feature is live today on the PC, Mac, and Linux versions of the game. Harvest with up to four friends at once! Adventure together! Get married to one another! Just watch out where you swing that scythe.
Stardew Valley's publisher, Chucklefish Games, announced the arrival of the multiplayer update earlier today. Look for it by 11 a.m. EST / 8 a.m. PDT (Chucklefish initially gave the time as "12 EST" before correcting itself. We sympathize: Our staff is spread across three different time zones and remembering those differences can be a killer).
Not long to go now farmers! The #StardewValley Multiplayer PC, Mac & Linux update launches today on @steam_games, @GOGcom and @humble at 16.00 BST, 12.00 EST & 08.00 PST! pic.twitter.com/G7cvWqCFNQ

If you participated in the Stardew Valley multiplayer beta last spring, you should be able to bring over your progress. If this is your first time Farming with Friends, all you need to do is build some cheap cabins for your pals on your property, and away you go.
Stardew Valley recently underwent a major content update that added lots of new side-quests, tasks, and dialogue. If you haven't been to the farm in a while, or if you're looking to visit for the first time ever, now's a great time to get some dirt under your fingernails. Clear your schedule first; you're going to be gone for a while.
