Dress to Impress When Style Savvy: Styling Star Drops This Holiday Season

A Christmas miracle!

I was thinking something was missing from my life. Seeing news hit my inbox that a new Style Savvy for Nintendo 3DS was on the way—formerly only confirmed for Europe and Japan—is probably what I need to fill that void.

Style Savvy: Styling Star, the latest installment in the cult hit dress-up game series, arrives on the North American eShop on December 25th. (Seemingly, a true Christmas miracle.) It's allegedly the biggest Style Savvy game yet with 20,000 in-game items, hair and make-up designing, and a few new additions to the series: like helping produce pop stars and decorating your own apartment. Players can also use select amiibo to unlock in-game Nintendo-inspired looks, from Animal Crossing to Splatoon.

If you're the type who's always been curious about the expansive dress-'em-up games, then you're in luck because there's a free demo of Style Savvy: Styling Star is available on the Nintendo eShop today. In the meantime, Love Nikki Dress-Up Queen, a free-to-play mobile dress-up game, might quench your dress-up game thirst until Styling Star arrives. Unfortunately, Style Savvy: Styling Star will not have a physical edition, and will be available exclusively on Nintendo's eShop.
