Fortnite's NFL Bandwagoners Can Get Superbowl Jerseys Later Today

Along with all 32 NFL teams as customization options.

NFL uniforms will return to the Fortnite Item Store later today. Ahead of the Super Bowl this weekend, you'll be able to purchase either the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs uniforms.

But it's not just those two teams that are getting uniforms in Fortnite. Over on the EpicGames blog, the developer revealed that if you purchase either one of the two uniforms available in the Item Store, you'll gain access to the uniforms of all 32 NFL teams in the character customization section of the game.

Both the 49ers and the Chiefs uniforms will be available in either the male or female variants in the Fortnite Item Store. Once you've purchased any of the four outfits, choose the 'Edit' option in the outfit menu when hovering over the NFL outfit, and you'll be able to change to the outfit of another team.

In addition to the uniforms, the Team Rumble mode is active right now in Fortnite, with one team representing the 49ers, and the other the Chiefs. There'll also be a streaming event starting later today from 5 p.m. ET on Epic Games' Twitch channel, which pairs up prestigious Fortnite players like Bugha with NFL players from around the league in a Duos mode, as each team attempts to win a prize pool of $500,000 which will then be put towards a charity.

In case you've been living under a rock (or just don't like the NFL, which is fair), the 49ers and Chiefs face off in the Super Bowl this Sunday in Miami. Our big boss Kat Bailey has already made her prediction about the outcome of the showdown, which is set to be a match up between two pretty dominant offenses.
