Just announced on today's Nintendo Direct, Super Kirby Clash is coming to the Nintendo Switch later today. It's a free-to-start multiplayer game that puts you and up to three friends in cooperative boss battles.
The game has a quest system and it looks like some classic Kirby power-ups have been retooled as four different character classes. They appear to work synergistically in the boss fights so that each player can focus on playing a particular team role. It will have over 100 quests and be playable in single-player and local or online multiplayer.
A disclaimer on the announcement video notes that a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required for online features. Last year, Nintendo released Kirby Star Allies on Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review of that Kirby outing on Switch here.
