Super Robot Wars X Announced, English Subtitled Version Coming April 26

Super Robot Wars X Announced, English Subtitled Version Coming April 26

If you've never played a Super Robot Wars game because of the language barrier, now is your chance.

Bandai Namco has announced Super Robot Wars X for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will be launching on March 29, 2018 in Japan, but if you've missed the series until now, it's probably because you can't read Japanese. That means you probably care more about the Southeast Asia release on April 26, which will retain the Japanese voice-overs, but add English subtitles, much like this year's release of Super Robot Wars V.

In an interview with Famitsu (translated via Gematsu), Super Robot Wars X producer Takanobu Terada and director Shinya Satake said that the game will be a standalone entry with the aim of bringing in newcomers. The "X" is not a roman numeral 10, it stands for the game's crossover nature and the unknown.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
