As part of Fighter Pack 1, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is set to receive its fifth and final fighter. It’s Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, a popular strategy RPG that released last year. The problem is that the messaging around the exact release time for Byleth in Smash has been a little mixed so far. Here’s when Byleth will release in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

What Time Will Byleth and Challenger Pack 5 Release?

Byleth will release as part of Challenger Pack 5, which adds in new music and a new stage themed around Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is scheduled for release at different times depending on where you are in the world. Here’s what we know so far:

US Timing - Byleth will release on January 28 in the US. New characters generally release around midday EST. Europe and Japan - Byleth will not release in Europe or Japan until January 29. This means that the earliest they will come out is midnight on Jan 29.

So Byleth Releases Later in Europe?

Unfortunately, Byleth is scheduled to release a day later in Europe and Japan. If you head to the official Nintendo site. it will automatically give you the specific release info for your region.
