In today's big Microsoft E3 press conference, Bandai Namco officially announced Tales of Arise. Unfortunately on Friday the new Tales game already leaked, but today we got a closer look at it in action, no longer resigned to screenshots.
In the trailer, we see a giant fire-inflamed dragon, someone pulling a sword out of another character's chest, and some glimpses at the vast worlds Tales of Arise will have. It's a far more striking world than we've seen in past Tales games, with many different biomes that look closer to open-world triple-A games' sensibilities rather than the past games in the series. It seems Bandai Namco is stepping up the engine for the next entry in the RPG series, the first since 2016's Tales of Berseria.
Tales of Arise is set for release in 2020. For more news on E3 2019, stay tuned to USG.
