Tales of Berseria, God Eater Resurrection, and More Heading West

Bandai Namco Entertainment is bringing a ton of fan-favorite titles to North America in 2016 and beyond.

As we close out 2015, Bandai Namco Entertainment has decided to give its fans something to look forward to over the next year or so. The company has already announced early 2016 releases like Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Project X Zone 2, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, but those titles will be joined by some other Japanese favorites heading westward. Check below to see what's in store.

Tales of Berseria (PS4, PC)

The next Tales of game has been announced for a North American release! Berseria follows the adventures of a young woman named Velvet, who has been consumed by darkness and has a left hand that holds mysterious powers. Veteran Tales character designers Mutsumi Inomata, Kosuke Fujishima, Minoru Iwamoto, and Daigo Okumura will be returning for the game. Tales of Berseria was not given a release date.

God Eater Resurrection (PS4, Vita, PC)

God Eater 2: Rage Burst (PS4, Vita, PC)

North America gets to play some catch up with the God Eater series. God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are coming to the US in Summer 2016. God Eater Resurrection is an enhanced version of God Eater Burst, which itself is was an expansion of the original God Eater. God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an expansion of God Eater 2, which was a Japan-exclusive title for PSP and Vita. If you're unclear what God Eater is all about, imagine Monster Hunter in a post-apocalyptic environment with actual plot and characters.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force (Vita)

The latest Gundam VS title is coming to our shores! Gundam games feel a bit rare at times, so the announcement that Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force for Vita is coming West in 2016 is a great one. Extreme VS-Force continues the two-on-two combat fans have come to expect from the series, this time with new mobile suits from Gundam Reconguista in G and the currently-airing Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven (PS4)

CyberConnect2 is back with another fighting game starring characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! This time, we're looking at a 2v2 fighter featuring over 50 characters from the entire manga series. Each character fits into a different fighting style, based on which series they're from. The game brings together every generation of the Joestar family in an original story by creator Hirohiko Araki. The game is coming Summer 2016 to PS4.

One Piece: Burning Blood (Steam)

One Piece: Burning Blood is an arena-based fighting game from Spike Chunsoft, taking place during the Dressrosa arc of the show and manga. We already knew the game was coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Vita in 2016, but now those titles are joined by a Steam release. Yeah, that's pretty much it. That's awesome if you're a PC-only One Piece fan though!

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
