Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Release Date Announced

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Release Date Announced

Coming into a packed early 2019.

Announced earlier this year at E3 2018, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition finally has a release date. It'll be launching for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 11, 2019.

"Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition includes up-scaled screen resolution, characters, events, and costumes that were never released outside of Japan, as well as introducing two new playable party members," reads the press release from Bandai Namco. "Flynn Scifo, the main character’s best friend and rival, and Patty Fleur, a young pirate searching for her lost memories."

I can't say I've actually played a Tales game before, but my god did that reveal trailer from back at E3 earlier this year immediately grab my attention. The remaster comes 10 and a half years after the original Tales of Vesperia released in 2008, on PS3 and Xbox 360.

We'll be reporting on any additional information revealed for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition between now and launch next year.

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
