Temtem: Most Powerful Moves and Techniques

Temtem: Most Powerful Moves and Techniques

We'll go over some of the best techniques your Temtem can learn here.

MMO creature-catcher Temtem has hundreds of different moves and attacks to learn across the course of the game, ranging from strategic stat-changing moves to high-power elemental blasts. We'll show you here which Temtem techniques and attacks are most powerful here.

What Are the Most Powerful Moves in Temtem?

With such a varied range of moves in Temtem, the best moves to use are often contextual, depending on circumstances, enemy weakness and your own Temtem's conditions. However, we've listed below the five most powerful moves in the game, as well as their general effects, stats and abilities.

5. Frond Whip

  • Damage: 146
  • Type: Nature
  • Attack: Physical
  • Stamina: 28
  • Hold: 1
  • Priority: 1

Frond Whip is the most powerful Nature attack in all of Temtem, and though Nature types usually prioritise special attack over physical attack, this technique is powerful enough to make up for the discrepancy.

This technique can be learned by: Taifu, Spriole, Deendre, Cerneaf

4. Major Slash

  • Damage: 150
  • Type: Neutral
  • Attack: Physical
  • Stamina: 33
  • Hold: 1
  • Priority: 2

Neutral attacks may seem a bit unnecessary when there's nothing that they're extra effective against, but a damage rating of 150 can be considered effective against practically anything. This move cannot be learned naturally, instead taught through a Technique Course gained by doing the "Freeing Bandits" side quest.

This technique can be learned by: Platox, Platimous, Tateru, Taifu, Valash, Gyalis, Mastione, Ukama, Kalabyss, Vulcrane, Pigepic.

3. Oshi-Dashi

  • Damage: 150
  • Type: Melee
  • Attack: Physical
  • Stamina: 28
  • Hold: 1
  • Priority: 2

Though not the most powerful Melee attack, Oshi-Dashi is the most powerful physical Melee-type attack, and physicality usually plays to Melee-types strengths perfectly. Its high priority also gives it an excellent advantage, overtaking most other techniques easily.

This technique can be learned by: Skail, Skunch, Pigepic.

2. Harmful Lick

  • Damage: 150
  • Type: Neutral
  • Attack: Physical
  • Stamina: 29
  • Hold: 0
  • Priority: 1

The most powerful Neutral-type technique, Harmful Lick's other advantage is the fact that it has no hold, allowing it to be used the moment battle starts for massive damage, potentially ending a fight before it starts.

This technique can be learned by: Babawa, Toxolotl, Noxolotl, Goolder.

1. Inner Spirit

  • Damage: 170
  • Type: Melee
  • Attack: Special
  • Stamina: 23
  • Hold: 2
  • Priority: 2

The most damaging and powerful move in all of Temtem, Inner Spirit also throws opponents for a loop by being a special-damage attack more often used by Temtem that specialize in physical attacks, namely Melee types. Still, the unrivalled attack power compensates for that easily, making this a must-have for any Temtem that can learn it.

This technique can be learned by: Tateru, Skunch, Mushi, Mushook, Baboong, Adoroboros.
