Tequila Sunrise PUBG Event Goes Live Today

Enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a hail of bullets to the face in PUBG's latest event.

Is the weather still cold and temperamental where you live? PUBG has something special in store for you. Sign in this evening to participate in the Tequila Sunrise event. It starts at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EST, and it runs through April 8 until 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EST. Absorb some sunshine and a health dose of bullets.

The Tequila Sunrise event is, to quote PUBG Corp, "Shotguns and melee weapons ONLY, on Miramar, for four-man squads." The time is locked at sunrise (hence the event name), and there are no care packages. The safe zone behaves a little differently, too: The first safe zone is visible on the map as soon as the plane is in the air, and it's a bit smaller than usual. Check out PUBG Corp's official page on Tequila Sunrise for more information, including loot spawn rates.

"Who brought the Clamato?" "The what?"

PUBG is working hard on its new events, which exist in part to compete with Fortnite Battle Royale's own events. PUBG events have special rulesets, but basic strategies for survival still apply. We can help you out with our tips, tricks, and guides for PUBG. We can also help you download and play PUBG mobile.
