Tetris Effect is Finally Getting a Soundtrack Release, Including a Gorgeous Quintuple Vinyl LP

These songs can be yours forever.

If you just want to boot up Tetris Effect to hang out with the excellent music and funky visualizers, the underappreciated theater mode will let you do just that. No tetrominoes required. It's a good solution at home, but lugging your PC or PS4 around isn't great for an on-the-go music fix. Thankfully, Enhance Games is releasing the Tetris Effect soundtrack digitally and on vinyl through Limited Run Games soon.

In celebration of Tetris Effect's one-year anniversary this month, Enhance will release a 40-song version of the soundtrack via Bandcamp. The tracklist hasn't been confirmed yet, but it will include "never before heard mixes" of Hydelic's "World of Colors" and "Connected (Yours Forever)," the song featured in Tetris Effect's original reveal trailer. The digital version will launch when the physical vinyl copies are shipping.

Limited Run is actually releasing two different vinyl versions of the soundtrack. $34.99 USD will get you a double LP with a selection of songs from the game along with a download code for the full 40-song soundtrack. For $99.99, you can get a quintuple LP package with all 40 songs on specially-colored vinyl, a download code, and foil slip-cover packaging.

If you're a physical game collector and you haven't picked up a copy of Tetris Effect, Limited Run is also publishing a special PS4 edition that comes with reversible cover art.

Both versions of the vinyl soundtrack and the PS4 disc copy will be available for pre-order starting at 10 a.m. ET on November 22. There'll be a four-week window to pre-order these through Limited Run's site, so while you're at less of a risk to miss out on them, don't plan on buying any of these as holiday gifts for your Tetris-loving friends.

In July, Tetris Effect also came to the PC via the Epic Games Store. At Sony's most recent State of Play, we got our first look at Humanity, the next game from Enhance. Humanity is slated to launch for the PS4 and PSVR in 2020.
