The Best Friday Before Black Friday Deals on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and More

We're not going to let something as minor as calendar dates hold us back from sharing deals.

Once upon a time, Black Friday encompassed a single day of sales on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Thus, the name. That dreaded Friday gradually fattened until it swallowed the entire weekend. Now its oily tendrils are reaching to embrace the entirety of November itself. It's terrifying, yes—but the deals are really good, and we've made it our mission to deliver the best deals to you.

While today isn't the titular Black Friday, it's a Friday in November, and that's seemingly enough for merchants to start running around with their pricing guns. Here are some great game-related Black Friday deals for a Friday that's not actually Black. Don't forget to visit our Best Black Friday Deals hub for more cash-saving craziness.

All prices are in USD.

Best Nintendo Switch Black Friday Deals

Best Black Friday Deals for Nintendo Switch Games

Last year's Black Friday deals for the Nintendo Switch were dismal (but still popular). Nintendo still isn't the King of the Deals this year, but there are already some decent savings going on, including an almost-$20 drop for Mario vs Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. $15-ish off Splatoon 2 is nothing to sneeze at, either. As for consoles, you'll already find some decent bundles on eBay, but we'll keep you posted on a la carte deals as they emerge.

Best PlayStation 4 Black Friday Deals

Best Black Friday Deals for PlayStation 4 Games

Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy are already revving up their PlayStation 4 console and game deals. Best Buy already has discounted DualShock controllers. Given the price of a PlayStation 4 DualShock, it's never a bad idea to take advantage of a deal when you can. Black Friday is definitely the time to consider buying Spider-Man, as we're already seeing big price drops on the game. More deals are coming; we'll keep you posted.

Best Xbox One Black Friday Deals

Best Black Friday Deals for Xbox One Games

If you have an Xbox One that's, y'know, a little lonely, you should be able to give it lots of love on Black Friday. Major retailers already have significant price drops for Xbox One games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and FIFA 19. Console bundles are also looking hot over on eBay. We'll keep you updated as the week goes on, of course.

Best PlayStation VR Deals

If you're thinking of dabbling in some discounted PlayStation VR magic, this is your Black Friday. It looks like Walmart is already conducting a fire sale on PSVR bundles, including games, headsets, accessories, and consoles. PSVR still isn't what you'd call "cheap," but we're talking about savings of $100, $200 here. Keep a close eye on these deals; we'll be doing so, too.

We've got a full Black Friday Deals hub page where you can find all the best deals. Of particular note are the best PS4 Pro Black Friday Deals, best Xbox One deals and any Nintendo Switch Black Friday Deals that are running this week. You might also want to get the best price on PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, too as Black Friday tends to throw up some good deals on console subs. Elsewhere we have the best Black Friday 4K TV deals, and the best Mobile Phone deals.
