Tomorrow's The Division 2 Update Won't Include The Dark Hours Raid

Servers will go down early tomorrow to install the next update.

The Division 2 servers are going dark tomorrow so Ubisoft can implement the next Title Update. Servers will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 14 at 12:30 a.m. PT / 3:30 a.m. ET for about three hours, at which time Title Update 3 will be implemented.

Ubisoft will release a full patch notes list tomorrow, but have already announced some of the major changes coming with the next Title Update, as well at what won't be hitting the update tomorrow. On that, gear score for players will not increase beyond 500, and raid loot will still be capped at 500.

The Dark Hours raid, the first eight-player raid in The Division series, will also not be arriving with tomorrow's Title Update. Instead, the raid will be launching "shortly" afterwards.

As for what will be in tomorrow's Title Update 3, Ubisoft announced that the sources of level 500 gear in The Division 2 will be expanded, so players can hit max item level easier. Daily priority hard and challenging missions, as well as heroic mission bosses, stronghold bosses, bounty bosses, and level 4 control points all will guarantee 500 gear drops.

If you've already hit item level 500, Dark Zone contaminated gear drops will not be below 500. All of this is so that players can get raid ready when The Dark Hours drops sometime next week.

The Division 2 was originally supposed to receive the Title Update 3 patch last month, but it was delayed so Ubisoft could fix some immediate issues with the last major update. With things seemingly worked out, Ubisoft is ready to deploy the next update.
