The Dogs in the Black Ops 4 Beta are Hilariously Broken

The Dogs in the Black Ops 4 Beta are Hilariously Broken

They're good dogs though.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta is now live on PlayStation 4 and this is the first real opportunity for the Call of Duty community at large to test out the upcoming shooter and give important feedback. So far though, there's only one real consensus: the dogs are broken and need help, Treyarch.

One of the perks in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta is the ability to call a good attack dog. It's a vicious little creature and a really good way to rack up a kill or two. The only problem is that it needs some work. While effective, the dog tends to be a bit overzealous. The dog makes Cujo look tame in comparison.

What's more, for some reason there's one spot in the Payload TDM map that seems to launch the poor pooch into the sky.

No, seriously. There's a spot on the Payload map where if the dog runs towards it, it will be shot into the sky off the map. Just look at the velocity in which this good pup is launched off the map. Laika, eat your heart out.

It doesn't look like the dog dies from the flight however. One player tracked the dog from afar to see where it landed, and only after sniping the dog from afar did they get the reward for taking out one of the attack dogs. So, if you let the dog fly away, there's a chance it's escaping from the hell of war.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta is currently ongoing on PS4 and will end on August 6. A second beta open to PS4, PC, and Xbox One players starts on August 10 and ends August 13.
