The Fortnite x Avengers Endgame Event is Here

The Endgame LTM brings back Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame is out right now in the UK (sorry, America), and so Thanos has been reintroduced to Fortnite. The Endgame LTM is now active in Fortnite Battle Royale, and features Thanos and the Chitauri.

The Endgame LTM features two teams: Thanos and the Chitauri, and a group of heroes. The latter team starts with a treasure map to quickly find Mythic Avengers items, including Captain America's shield, Hawkeye's bow, Thor's Stormbringer, and Iron Man's laser gloves.

The villain team starts off as Chitaruri. The first Chitauri to find an Infinity Stone around the map will be transformed into Thanos, complete with the Infinity Gauntlet. The goal of the heroes is to destroy the villain team, while the latter team is trying to recover all six Infinity Stones to win the game.

If Thanos is eliminated, another Chitauri will become the villain after a brief period. The six Infinity Stones all have unique power upgrades for Thanos:

  • Reality Stone - Health and shield doubled.
  • Soul Stone - Grants Thanos shields only.
  • Mind Stone - Jump height doubled.
  • Space Stone - Ground Pound AoE attack damage tripled.
  • Time Stone - Triples damage for each hit.
  • Power Stone - Laser damage increased by six times.

As of right now, there's no word on when the Endgame LTM mode will be active in Fortnite until. If past trends for Fortnite limited time modes continue here, then we should expect Endgame to hang around for about two weeks.
