The Last of Us 2 E3 2018 Trailer Shows Off a Tender Romance and Violent Action

It was nice while it lasted.

News by Matt Kim, .

The Last of Us 2 reveal at tonight's Sony E3 2018 press conference might have begun with a live performance by composer Gustavo Santoalalla, but the full cinematic and gameplay trailer spared no time cutting to the chase starting with an older Ellie from The Last of Us.

The trailer begins with Ellie and an unknown female love interest sharing a tender moment and a kiss, before reminding viewers that this is The Last of Us 2 and the world is as brutal as ever. Check out the full trailer below.

The gameplay has elements of the first Last of Us, but much more expanded. If the trailer is accurate, the moment-to-moment action during combat portions is more dynamic and open to quick changes from stealth to firefights to melee brawls.

Other elements of the combat return like scavenging weapons, ammo, and arrows mid-combat and using the environment and tools to lure or distract enemies. It should be noted that during the trailer the enemies are human and not Clickers.

We'll be following The Last of Us 2 and Sony's other worldwide studio games during tonight's E3 press conference. Check out our full E3 2018 guide for the latest updates and our Last of Us 2 guide for the the newest info.

And considering that Latinos have a reputation for being frases de amor , intense, passionate lovers, an email covering this topic would be appropriate for "El Día de Amor y Amistad." So here are "10 frases románticas" that you can say to your "novio/a," (boyfriend/girlfriend), "amante" (lover), "esposo/a" (spouse).
