There's also a new Diablo 3: Eternal Collection for newbies.

Blizzard released its Rise of the Necromancer expansion for Diablo 3 this week, as well as a new bundle aptly called, Diablo 3: Eternal Collection. There's also a new update that brings new Challenge Rifts,The Shrouded Moors and Temple of the Firstborn zones, and Realms of Fate bounties. You can purchase the Necromancer pack individually or buy the new complete bundle now.

The new expansion brings back the popular Necromancer class and is available for $15 USD. However, Blizzard also includes a few other bonuses including new armor sets, a half-formed golem pet, and a few banners to help deck out your new class. You can play the Necromancer in both the campaign and Adventure portions of the game.

In addition, Blizzard released a 2.6.0 update for the game which will add new Challenge Rifts which are designed to for players who want to complete a Greater Rift that someone else already ran. Players are encouraged to try out new builds to get the fastest times. You can win Blood Shards and crafting materials if you beat the goal time, and as an added bonus, you'll be able to test out a build before entering the Challenge Rift. A nice little addition to help streamline the new challenge mode.
