The PokéBall New Nintendo 2DS XL Is up for Pre-Order Now

Earlier this month, Nintendo unveiled the latest in a long line of limited edition DS consoles - the Poké Ball Edition of the New Nintendo 2DS XL.

While the title itself is a bit of a mouthful, this little guy won over plenty of people with its basic but pretty beautiful design, mirroring - as you may expect already - a classic red/white Poké Ball.

While it might be a little odd to see a brand new version of the 2DS, complete with limited design, arrive on the market this far after the Nintendo Switch launch, keep in mind there are still plenty of 3DS games being released, with more on the way.

Mere weeks ago, our Editor Kat Bailey reviewed Metroid: Samus Returns, a 3DS exclusive, and found it to be essential and that's without mentioning the latest iterations of Pokémon Sun and Moon.

If you'd like to make sure you can get your hands on one of these brand new Poké Ball 2DS systems, you can pre-order via the link below.
