The USgamer Podcast is our weekly flagship podcast that is updated every Wednesday. You can find the previous episodes here.

We're inching towards the last busy season of the year with Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and The Evil Within 2 releasing this week. But that's not all that's on our minds. Join us in this week's episode of our flagship podcast as we talk big game download sizes, loot boxes, the Nintendo World Championship, and more! (download link here).

We're back on a regular schedule until the end of time. We're all stressed out looking ahead to the dozens of games releasing in the next few weeks, but in the meantime we're kicking back a teensy bit. Caty got her first Xbox console (Baby's First Xbox), and is exploring the console family's library. Mike played Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, and was astounded by its 100gb file size on PC. Nadia ventured into the Big Apple to watch kids play Nintendo games they weren't familiar with. You can hear all these grand tales, plus some musings about the hot topic of the moment: loot boxes.

We're here for you every Wednesday, so please subscribe! If you like what you hear, check out the Axe of the Blood God RPG podcast on Fridays!

Still loving the podcast. Really glad you guys brought it back. I still really miss Bob and Jeremy on the podcast, however, but there's not much to be done about that

I'm really digging this podcast. It's so chill and it helps that I agree with you guys a lot.

Caty's stance on loot boxes, that's basically me. I don't care about the controversy and I'm kind of mad that this is only blowing up now when (like Mike stated) they've been around for awhile. Makes gamers seem like a whiny bunch.

Surprised that Caty just got her first Xbox. I got a slim 360 for $50 with Kinect and Two controllers of Craigslist. However even though I have Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Forza 4, and then some Ive only used it for 20 hours. I had to hack a hard drive to get backwards compatibility and had lots of fun with Jet Set Radio Future. Really hope Xbox One will have better compatibility.

Hopefully Nadia will get a cheap HDMI monitor with stereo output.

Games definitely NEED a SD variant, I will not be using any assets over 1080 resolution and it's wasted especially when I'll only spend like 20 hours on a video game, I don't want a game that will take 50 hours to download!
