The Wiggle is Fortnite's Latest Dance Emote, and it's Disarmingly Hypnotic

Pretty sure Kaa from the Jungle Book specializes in this sort of thing.

Fortnite Battle Royale wants you to remember it's the small things that make life worth living, even if your life is effectively measured in minutes as soon as you enter a new fight. The game's latest addition, a wormy dance, is worth dropping all your defenses for. Never mind the danger! Just get up and dance, dance, dance!

The new dance, which is available now in the game's store, might have an offensive purpose, too. Just watch that .gif Epic Games posted, then try and look away after a few seconds. It's hard, right? Whenever I look at that dancer's creamy-smooth undulations, I'm hypnotized for at least 20 seconds. I feel like a small rodent being charmed by a cobra. Problem is, you can't afford to drop your defenses on the battlefield. Every second you're held in thrall by the dance is a second you leave yourself wide open to enemy attack. Imagine explaining your death to whichever Deity your soul goes home to. "Yeah, I died an honorable death on the field of battle, but—"

"Someone yelled 'Wormy Dance!' I had to stop and watch."

It'd be great if we could just dance one another to death in Fortnite, but that's not how things work, sadly. Guns are king. That's why you should read up on our hints, tips, and guides for Fortnite Battle Royale, including our Fortnite Week 7 challenges guide.
