The Witcher 3's 4K Upgrade May Be Coming Soon to the PlayStation 4 Pro

Be wary, be alert.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best RPGs released in recent years. Too bad it's not in line for a 4K update.

Oh. Wait a second.

CD Projekt Red had its half-year 2017 presentation yesterday, during which CD Projekt Red president Adam Kicinski re-confirmed a Witcher 3 4K upgrade is coming soon to PlayStation 4 Pro, and then to Xbox One X later in the year.

As our good friends at Eurogamer point out, CD Projekt briefly confirmed 4k updates are in the works at E3 2017.

There's your average horse's ass, and then there's your *ultra high resolution* horse's ass.

Eurogamer's Robert Purchese also asked CD Projekt Red when we can expect the 4K updates, since yesterday's presentation gave the impression newer, prettier Witcher 3 will be available for the PlayStation 3 Pro in "a few days." Senior PR manager Radek Adam Grabowski responded, "More details about [the updates], including the exact moment when they will be released, are something we are going to announce when the right time comes."

Sit tight; it probably won't be long before you get to see monster guts slop all over the landscape in glorious 4K resolution.
