This Kirby Human Feet Mod is a Sin Against Nature

This Kirby Human Feet Mod is a Sin Against Nature

Why would you do this?!

Call me a simple man, but I believe that Kirby shouldn't have realistic, human feet. Yet here we are with a mod for Super Smash Bros. Wii U that gives Kirby exactly that: realistic, human feet.

As reported by Kotaku, players can download a mod that will give Kirby two pink but human-looking feet, complete with five toes per appendage. It's creepy to say the least, and not a mod I'm eager to try out. You can check out Kirby's big shoe fillers in the video above. Pay particular attention to Kirby's kick moves because they are disturbing in a, "this just isn't right," kind of way.

The mod was made by Lucky Jero who published the video on YouTube yesterday with the simple tagline, "Because the world needs this." A fan art image of Kirby with realistic feet started making the rounds on the internet back in March when artist Marie Blue drew a simple, four-panel comic of Kirby taking off his pink shoes to reveal humanoid feet. Much like the mod, I don't particularly care for the image but they both exist in this world now and I have to live with them.

Lucky Jero says that the mod is mostly a joke and so no improvements will be made for the small graphical glitches. I honestly don't blame them for spending any more time than they already have on the mod.

There are plenty of great mods for games, and many that change the base game's genre. For example, last month I covered a Fallout 4 mod called "Pilgrim" which turns Bethesda's open world RPG into a The Witch inspired horror game. The foot mod is somehow scarier.

You can download the mod at this link if you want.
